Sketching...

I'm preparing for making screen prints ... making sketches to base the prints on. This is a close up of one of them.

YES! I got a grant!

Last friday I got the happy news - Wilhelm and Martina Lundgren's Foundation granted me money for enamel experiments and presentation material for public commissions. I'll publish more details (and hopefully photos) about my enamel experiments when I get started. That might take a little time though - I'd better first make sure I have all the material for my exhibit in October!

Print-event at Göteborg Art Biennal in September

The 8-9 of September I will participate in a side-event at Göteborg Art Biennal - Finland against Sweden in Printmaking (“ Grafisk Finnkamp”). The two finish graphic artists Visa Norros and Antti Veltheim are leading the event. The same weekend the Annual Sweden Finland athletics’ Game - FINNKAMPEN - will take place at Ullevi (the local sport arena) – which explains the name of our event.

More information in August.

here is another one.
Same size more or less.

New painting

I'm working on some new stuff - mixing watercolour and acrylic on big watercolour papers. This painting - laughing out loud - is 95 x 64 cm.
